Growing up in a culture where women typically didn’t dream of being athletes or owning businesses, Consolate defied expectations and bravely pursued her own path. After completing her university education and starting her career in Public Service, she felt a deep desire to do something even more meaningful for herself and her community.
With a strong belief in the power of physical, mental, and spiritual connection, Consolate created Frilete to be more than just a sportswear brand. She wanted to help people find their purpose and happiness by taking the first step towards their goals, even in the face of challenges. Born in Congo, Consolate’s life was profoundly impacted by the Civil War that devastated many lives, including her family’s. She grew up in refugee camps before eventually settling in Australia, where her dreams began to take shape.
Although her journey has not been easy, Consolate remains determined and believes in a higher purpose, despite her challenging past. As an entrepreneur, she has faced financial hurdles, cultural expectations, and the pressures of starting a business in a competitive industry.
